The Altamonte Springs Rotary Club is part of a worldwide organization of business and professional leaders founded in 1905 committed to providing humanitarian service, high ethical standards in business, and creating global goodwill. The Taste of Altamonte was a project begun in 1992 with the goal of returning the funds raised to charities in our local community. It has grown to be a premier event and continues to grow each year. This year take a stroll around Cranes Roost Lake while sampling "tastes" from community restaurants including international coffees, barbecue, ribs, chicken, seafood, and other international flares from Mexican to Chinese.

The first Moe’s restaurant opened in Atlanta, GA on December 1, 2000, and offered burritos, tacos, quesadillas, nachos, salads and fajitas. Guests could choose from over 25 fresh ingredients including grilled chicken, steak or tofu. There were meals just for kids, beverages just for adults, and free chips and salsa for all guests to enjoy with every meal. To demonstrate their commitment to freshness, Moe’s has never used freezers, microwaves, animal fat, lard, or MSG. Over the years, Moe’s has added ground beef, pulled pork, bacon and Junior burritos to the menu and has featured popular limited time offers like the Chicken Club Quesadilla and Phil E. Burrito.

The original Bubbalou’s location, housed in a humble little red building on Lee Road, has been a familiar and well loved haunt for generations.
Since 1986, Bubbalou’s Bodacious Bar-B-Que has been stoking up pre-dawn fires, getting the sauce pots stirring and preparing to serve scores of Bar-B-Que aficionados seven days a week! The intoxicating scent of slow-smoked meats beckon diners to flock through our doors to savor the most celebrated Bar-B-Que institution in the area.
While our kitchen prepares all of our food from scratch, our friendly staff assists our guests with “to-go” orders as well as large pick up and delivery orders. Our Catering Director and staff work hand in hand with our clients to create memorable and delicious events that range from company picnics and birthday parties to grand openings and weddings and more. You name it and we’ll cater it!
There’s never a dull moment at Bubbalou’s. We’ve worked long and hard to be the “Best of the Best.” Visit our Winter Park location and let us serve it up to you Bubba-

Drivers Work Off Tips!!

Edit Post
The drivers at GoWaiter North Orlando work hard and tipping is how they make money. I have decided to research and blog a little about this.
A tip, or gratuity, is a small amount of money given voluntarily as a token of appreciation for a service rendered. We tip our servers as a way of thanking them for good service. We might also leave a very low tip, or no tip at all, as a signal that the service was substandard.
A story on tips from CNN Money says:
Tipping experts recommend you tip a waiter or waitress 15 percent for adequate service, 20 percent for very good service and not less than 10 percent for very bad service. Why 10 percent for a bad time? Think of the busboys, the bartender and the hostess. In a lot of restaurants, a server pays out a percentage of their tips to others who help them serve you. By punishing the server, you're punishing them.
About.com wrote:
If you are having pizza (or other food) delivered to your home or office, the tip rules vary considerably. As in the case of a sit-down restaurant, tipping is optional but some restaurants add a delivery fee to your bill (usually about $3.00). In some cases, delivery fees are higher when food is delivered to an office.
One of the coolest and most impressive sites I’ve found while doing a little research for this post is:
Thepizzaguy.com
-The tip shows that you value the driver's work.
-It just feels good to tip.
-It shows that you're a good person. It's a good thing to do.
-It shows you have class.
-Tipping is common courtesy. It's customary.
Drivers at Gowaiter.com do on occasion still get stiffed. I’ll say it again the thepizzaguy.com has a lot of good info pertaining to the proper tipping of a delivery driver. Unlike ordering just Pizza or Chinese, when ordering from GoWaiter North Orlando we have over 50+ Restaurants like WingHouse, Chili’s, TGI Friday’s and some of local favorite are Mykonos, Friendly Confines & Bayridge Sushi. We offer more choices then just one type of food. A bonus to ordering online is a bi-weekly email with a free delivery coupon code or a free six pack. Our delivery charge when ordering on-line is $3.99 and $4.99 if you order over the phone, so go ahead try us!!!

GoWaiter North Orlando was happy to help Fox 35 with this story!
Just to clarify we haven't added any fuel surcharge. We are thinking about it. But as of now nothing has been added. Delivery is $3.99 if you order on-line and $4.99 if you call it in. The menu prices are the same as if you were to dine in at the Restaurant. There's no Processing fee for your credit card orders and, It's customary to tip your driver 15% to 18%. We wont be upset though, if you're really EXCITED about the great selection that you can have Delivered and you want to tip our drivers over and above the customary amount. Our Drivers would greatly appreciate it also b/c that's the only way they make money.
Today's Featured Restaurants!!
Carmela's In Longwood.
Winghouse In Altamonte Springs.
Paxia In College Park.
Panda Express In Sanford.
